Animation-Set & IK/FK Control-RIG (E2E)

This study has included fundamental steps in the process of making a production ready control RIG, to seamlessly align into 3D animation pipelines. The Model was made by Victoria Wecker.

RIGGING & ANIMATION skill sets applied:

0.0 align the root joint to the later pipeline

1.0 place a hierarchical order of joints & bones
1.1 constrain transitions: rotation (translation, scale)

2.0 simplify controls with a switchable FK/IK RIG
2.1 bind those RIGs - the skeleton - to the mesh

3.0 weight-paint verts to be affected by later animations
3.1 animate a seamless set of keyframes (PAL/NTSC)
3.2 export the skeleton animation accordingly

4.0 import modular animation-sets along with the skeleton
4.1 create a scene and setup the render attributes
4.2 lit and render the final animation sequence

5.0 transcode resulting frames into a video container

Apps utilized: Maya > Unreal Engine
Curriculum applied: University of Hertfordshire London

Seamless keyframe animation-sets - infinite
